Description
In the context of Germany's national eGovernment strategies "Deutschland-Online" and "MEDIA@Komm-Transfer" the object orientated data interchange format "XPlanGML" for urban land use planning has been developed between 2004 and 2007.
In the further development project of the XPlanGML-object model this interchange format should be extended for regional plans, regional land use plans and landscape plans. Legal base for these kinds of plans are federal state laws. Because of that a nationwide validly core model should be developed in cooperation with external experts, followed by an exemplary adjustment of the object model for one specific fedeal state.
The department of Geoinformation Processing for Landscape and Environmental Planning is responsible for the test and evaluation of the advanced object model. Therefore three exemplary plans of the mentioned plan types need to be converted in the adjusted XPlanGML. There is a continous interchange of the results between our department and the project partners.
