The Department of Geoinformation in Environmental Planning coordinates the new research project 'BioS - Monitoring and Modeling of the Critical Balance of Biomass and Biodiversity in Siberia with Remote Sensing Methods', funded by the Research Fund Pro Nachhaltigkeit of TU Berlin, together with the partners of the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research Potsdam [8] and the Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) [9] in Yakutsk, Russia.
